INDENTIFICATE: Printed on Electrode
CHARACTERISTICS:
A medium heavy coated rutile based air hardening type of electrode. The weld metal is highly resistant- abrasive wear and has fair degree of toughness. The electrode deposits finely rippled bead with easily removable slag, which gives approximate- 350 brinell hardness which is machinable.
APPLICATION:
Shear blades, Punching dies, Couplings, Conveyor parts, Shaft axles, Plough shares, Wobbler ends, Cranes, Pullies, Drive, Sprockets, wheels, Gears etc.
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
Carbon - 0.02 – 0.30%
Manganese - 0.60 –0. 70%
Silicon - 0.25 – 0.45%
Chromium - 3.00– 3.50%
HARDNESS: On Mild Steel 330-360 Brinell on IIIrd Layer.
