CHARACTERISTICS:
A medium heavy coated rutile based hard facing electrode, surfacing on carbon and low-alloy steels. Weld-Metal is resistant-severe wear and abrasion, weld-metal is finely rippled with easy removable-slag. Weld metal is machinable with carbide tools.
APPLICATION:
Metal cutting tools, Screws, conveyors, Chipping tools, Cranes, Oil expellers, Pulley, shafts, Couplings pinion teeth rollers etc.
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
Carbon - 0.25 – 0.35%
Manganese - 0.80 –1.00%
Silicon - 0.40 – 0.50%
Chromium - 3.00– 4.50%
HARDNESS: On Mild Steel 400-450 Brinell on IIIrd Layer.
