INDENTIFICATE: Printed on Electrode
CHARACTERISTICS:
A medium heavy coated low hydrogen type hard facing electrode depositing air hardening weld metal with soft arc, least spatter and easy slag detachability. It can be used on high carbon and high sulphur steels free of under bead cracking and porosity. The deposit can withstand heavy abrasion and impact and can only be finished by grinding.
APPLICATION:
Bulldozers, Crusher jaws, Cultivator shovels, Clutch plates, Mining Machinery Parts, Mullers, Muller Ploughs, Conveyor Buckets, Stone Crushing Hammers, Paper & Cane Cutting Knives.

Carbon - 0.40 – 0.65%
Manganese - 0.50 – 1.00%
Silicon - 0.45 – 0.70%
Chromium - 6.00– 7.50%
Molybdenum - 0.30– 0.45%
Vanadium - 0.30– 0.50%
HARDNESS: On Mild Steel 520-600 Brinell on IIIrd Layer.
